The layer of polyurethane to protects the inner metal roller core, to avoid metal roller core are scratches, dents, corrosion, and damage during operation. The material of metal roller core could be steel, aluminum, carbon steel etc.

we can strip off used polyurethane and recover with new polyurethane, refurbish polyurethane rollers for less than the cost of buying one new!
