The Method of Jointing or welding Polyurethane Round drive belts
- Cutting belt end to end by cutter.
- Butting both end of belt and hot melt 20 seconds, press both end of belt with your hand and keep horizontal alignment. (this operation also can use tool, like electric iron and clamp)
- then, Let’s cool for 2-3 minutes, and then remove burrs.
For small diameter PU round belts, such as diameter 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm polyurethane round belt, the above method is very simple without any tools, it can connect polycord belt into o-ring drive belt.
